What do I write about?
Your are free too write about anything pertaining to the art of magic. Some topic ideas would be... sleight of hand, product reviews, show reviews, marketing yourself/publicity, how to create a character, street magic and performance, good ideas for kid shows, script writing, touring with a show, biography of a magician, magic news, history, collecting, a crazy story about an experience you had performing... you are not limited!
What can I not write about?
Meatballs, teletubbies, racism, profanity, sex, adult content in general, cooking shows, how to make money online, Viagra.... you get the idea, this is a place to discuss the art of magic, lets stay connected. Every article is pre-screened before it is posted.
May I submit a comment about a posted article?
Of course you can, just tell me what article you are commenting on and what you'd like to add. Send to David@newmagicsource.com.
Can I submit content that was written by someone else?
No, however, you can obtain permission from the original author. That author will be credited for the article.
May I submit a video article?
If that's how youd like to do it, sure! Please send the embedding code.
Will you post my contact information and links?
Of course... but only if you ask me too. Some prefer to protect their contact information from the internet. You can link your website, your myspace... contact information is at your discretion.
How often may I submit?
As often as you like. But keep in mind, this venue is for all, if you submit every day, it's likely that I will reserve some of your articles for later. Special arrangements may be made, please contact us.
Note:
We are not intending to post 6 articles about the same topic. Once we have one or two articles about "beginners should practice, practice, practice", we will more than likely NOT post another one. Find something different to talk about. Everyone has thoughts, opinions, suggestions... you'll think of something.
Please do not submit copyrighted material unless you are the owner of the material.
