BASIC EFFECT:
Two balloons are shown on a stand. The Mentalist ask a spectator to chose one of the balloons. After this is done one balloon is tossed to the spectator and he is asked to blow the balloon up, tie it and return it to the spectator. While the spectator is blowing up the balloon the Mentalist ask to borrow a cigarette lighter. Once the ballooned is returned the Mentalist lights the lighter(this may be browed also) and moves the flame toward the balloon until the flame is in contact with the balloon. The expected happens, the balloon pops. The effect is repeated by the Mentalist but this time he will use the power of his mind to keep the balloon from bursting. This is done the balloon does not pop but it does get a little charred from contact with the lighter.
