A card is chosen from a pack of cards. The selection is returned to the deck. The deck is then isolated on the floor, away from the magician's sneaky little hands. Under the magician's control, the deck eeriliy begins to cut itself to a card in the center. The chosen card then suddenly SHOOTS out of the deck! The deck can be examined before and after the effect.
This effect has been out for about 2 years now and I've just discovered how great this variation on the haunted deck is. People ask me all the time if I do "real" magic and I always answer "I come REAL close", then perform Spooked. The reactions are great EVERYTIME you perform this and the "visibility" of the gimmick is less likely to flash than any other method to the haunted deck. Not only is this an instructional DVD, it comes complete with a good quality I.T.R. (Levitation Device) and a wrist strap which is used for the special hook-up which is essential for the effect. Nicholas Einhorn explains Spooked with great detail and I personally only had to watch the DVD once and I was doing Spooked within minutes after watching the tutorial.
